Sean O’Malley is undeniably one of the most promising young fighters in the Ultimate Fighting Championship right now. “Sugar” has been highly entertaining. He has put up some incredible performances that have made fans adore him. Besides his incredible fighting ability, he is also highly charismatic outside of the octagon, which has made him one of the UFC’s biggest cash cows.
O’Malley has a personality that is destined for UFC stardom. For bringing up the numbers in whatever event he’s featured on, he’s frequently compared to Conor McGregor. His fighting technique and persona are quite similar to McGregor’s, and both are amazing knockout artists.

I think Sean O’Malley, finishing Paiva the way he did, that fast.. I think lets you know that Sean O’Malley is ready for the big time. For him to fuck up a guy, pretty easily, shut out a win, tale victory, a guy who’s 20 and 3 with a 3 win streak in the UFC, is no punk man. If you don’t write him in the top 15 I’m going to freak out,” said Schaub.

Schaub added, “You gotta pay him for what he’s worth. He’s hitting a demo no other fighter is hitting, he’s on twitch, his merch is crushing. He’s hanging out with f*cking Tekashi 6ix9ine, he’s hanging out with the Nelk boys. There’s nobody on the roster besides Conor McGregor more valuable to the UFC than Sean O’Malley.”

After his dominant win over Raulian Paiva at UFC 269, it would shock if O’Malley doesn’t get to fight someone in the top ten bantamweight rankings next.
An exciting fighter O’Malley could face for his next fight is the young prospect, Song Yadong. Both fighters are close to each other on the rankings and they are valued young bantamweights.
