Khabib Nurmagomedov appeared on Mike Tyson’s Hotboxin’ Podcast along with the likes of Henry Cejudo and their manager, Ali Abdelaziz. While the episode is yet to be aired, bits from it surfaced online. A reporter of ESNEWS asked ‘The Eagle’ for his take on a fantasy fight between ‘Triple-C’ and internet sensation, Hasbulla Magomedov.
“Hasbulla is gonna smash this guy,” the former UFC lightweight champion hilariously replied. That response delighted Cejudo as he burst into laughter. So did Abdelaziz. They took group photos with Mike Tyson afterward.

Cejudo last competed at UFC 249 where he defeated Dominick Cruz to hold on to his title. But, in his post-fight interview, one of the greatest combat athletes of all time announced his retirement from the UFC and the sport of MMA.
‘The Messenger’ first tasted UFC gold when he bettered Demetrious Johnson to capture the UFC flyweight title. He then moved up a weight class to take on Marlon Moraes for the vacant bantamweight title after T.J. Dillashaw was suspended. A third-round finish earned him the 135 lbs title, and he joined an elite company of the few simultaneous two-division champions in UFC history.
Nurmagomedov, too, announced his retirement from the sport after successfully defending his lightweight belt against Justin Gaethje at UFC 254.

Will Khabib Nurmagomedov or Henry Cejudo ever return to the UFC Octagon?
Nurmagomedov’s primary reason behind his decision was his father Abdulmanap’s unfortunate demise. The Dagestani wanted to spend more time with his family. And having done it all in the sport, the undefeated Russian doesn’t feel he has anything more to prove in the UFC.
Cejudo, a lifetime athlete, wanted to take a break after spending most of his life in combat sports. However, it seems that there might be a possibility that the former double champion could make a return. As for ‘The Eagle‘, the chances are slim to none.
