“He Doesn’t Vibe With What Dana Did”: Dana White Blamed for Khabib Nurmagomedov’s End in MMA

Dana White has definitely not wished his year to start the way it did. The UFC President entered the new year bringing a very unwanted controversy with himself. The UFC President’s video went viral after he slapped his wife Anne Stella White on New Year’s Eve at a party. Moreover, one absurd allegation is also put on White this year. An ex-UFC star has said that Dana White could be blamed for the early retirement of Khabib Nurmagomedov from MMA. Dana White would not be happy with such statements. However, we take a look at what the ex-UFC heavyweight fighter has said about ‘The Eagle’s retirement.

Brendan Schaub reports Dana White to be the primary reason Khabib Nurmagomedov retired

Brendan Schaub said on a podcast, “He’s good. But you were saying that MMA is on a decline… I think that factor into it and the time away from his family factored into it. Also being retired and also I would be willing to bet he does not vibe with what Dana did. I bet he’s like ‘I’m out’. Bet he’s like ‘I’m out.’ No comment.”

Here Schaub is speculated to factor in Dana White’s controversial video wherein he appears to slap his wife Anne Stella White. The ex-UFC fighter thinks that this could be the reason why Nurmagomedov retired from all forms of MMA.

Furthermore, Schaub added another reason that could add as a factor for Nurmagomedov’s retirement. The ex-UFC fighter said that paying the Eagle FC fighters in Crypto can also be the reason for an early retirement from coaching.

He said, “I’m f*****g done with it. And then also remember Eagle FC was paying guys in like Crypto. Remember that whole Crypto thing… I think there’s all those factors into it. Dana’s stuff he’s like all right ‘I’m out man, I’m out'”.

These speculations are what Schaub considers are the reasons for the early retirement of ‘The Eagle’. However, the ex-UFC star is far away from the opinion of some other members of the MMA community.

Brendan Schaub goes against the popular opinion for Khabib Nurmagomedov’s retirement

The reasons Schaub has stated are unpopular and not considered by any person in the MMA community. The majority of the people speaking about the retirement of UFC Legend Khabib Nurmagomedov have cited his family as the main reason. For example, his coach Javier Mendez has clearly stated that Nurmagomedov is a family man and would love to spend some more time with his loved ones in Dagestan, Russia.

Khabib Nurmagomedov Pens a Cryptic 3-Word Message Following MMA Retirement Decision

Similarly, UFC Legend Chael Sonnen is of the same opinion following the retirement of Nurmagomedov. However, one aspect where Brendan Schaub spoke similarly to the other members of the MMA community is that he too believes Nurmagomedov is a ‘man of his word’. Moreover, Schaub wanted to say that if the ‘Eagle’ said that he has retired, then he will stay retired no matter what people say. Furthermore, he also stated that Nurmagomedov is a man that does not care about the ‘likes’ or ‘clicks’ that his posts get.
