Joe Rogan is probably the most well-known face in the entire UFC. The 55-year-old is also a podcaster of the highest level. His show bagged the supreme spot on Spotify’s ‘Top Podcasts’ list. The noted environmental statistician, Bjorn Lomborg, joined Rogan in one such episode of his podcast. Along with a volley of other stuff, the duo discussed how funds from only the billionaires won’t be enough to moderate the effects of climate change.
Lomborg described how the problem of climate change can be managed with funds raised from realistic tax increases. He also laid stress upon the point that it’s not possible for billionaires to fuel this venture all by themselves.

Joe Rogan and Bjorn Lomborg both agreed that billionaires become bankrupt sooner
The two talked about how it’s every man’s responsibility to be concerned about our environment and climate change. Lomborg explained how funds are also required to initiate new campaigns toward resisting climate change.
He also attempted to reach this goal with minor contributions from everyone. Lomborg also put up a real-life scenario stating, “Most people are willing to pay something to do good for the environment. But, they are not willing to pay $5000 per person per year. That’s not gonna happen”,

Rogan iterated, “Most people” implying that there are people who would be willing to pay hefty amounts towards climatic issues. Lomborg agreed, “A few very wealthy people”.
The JRE host also described how the leftists will make it an agenda against the billionaires, stating, “Yeah gotta take the billionaires, they gotta fix it all”.
Lomborg presented his own views on this as he mentioned, “That’s just not true, they run out of money really quickly.”
Rogan sarcastically revealed the reason Elon Musk ran out of money
Continuing on the same topic, Lomborg iterated, “Elon has $2-300B, he would run out in two weeks.” It’s quite apparent that an America-wide climate change campaign would require the net worth of more than one Elon Musk.
Joe Rogan commented out of his humor, “He was running out of it just on Twitter”. The grand takeover of Twitter by Musk was one of the biggest headlines of the year. The former martial artist showcased his comedian side through this comment.

After a smirk, Lomborg stated, “You know, I’m all for it that they[the billionaires] should do more.” He went on, “But this is not how you solve the problem. This is about making sure that you can responsibly do it with the budget that you have or the realistic tax increases”.
A lot of the population would actually agree with the words spoken by Lomborg. Resisting the effects of climate change can never be fulfilled by a certain class of people unless everyone is equally concerned about it.
