Henry Cejudo Calls Out Former Featherweight Champion Max Holloway

Henry Cejudo, the former 2 division UFC champion, has been out of the fight game since May 2020. In his last fight, Cejudo stopped Dominick Cruz with a flying knee, followed by a couple of punches to the face to retain his bantamweight belt.
‘The Messenger’ is on a six-fight win streak and wants to win his seventh consecutive fight against someone special. Brett Okamoto interviewed ‘Triple C’ where Henry Cejudo showed his interest in fighting Max Holloway.
He said, “He’s taller than me he’s inflicted a lot more damage in different people but I feel like I’m just too smart and too skilled and I love the challenge if I was to ever fight Max Holloway.”

Max Holloway fought his last fight with Calvin Kattar, where he showed his class and skills. The former champion destroyed ‘The Boston Finisher’ for 5 rounds on the ABC network and gave the fans a masterclass performance. In between the fight, Holloway pointed towards the commentator’s desk and proclaimed himself as the best boxer in the UFC.

‘Triple C’ wants Max Holloway to fight and win against Alexander Volkanovski in a trilogy fight and then fight Holloway himself. He believes people realize that Max Holloway is a tough opponent for him. Hence, they will see him as an underdog in the fight.

He also stated the fact that he also wants Volkanovski to fight him for the featherweight championship. ‘The Great’ is 2 inches taller than him, so this is a much better fight for Cejudo.
