Returning to the octagon after serving a two-year suspension, TJ Dillashaw picked up a controversial split decision win over Cory Sandhagen at UFC Vegas 32.
The former two-time champion’s latest victory has garnered a lot of attention, even from the former double Champion, Henry Cejudo, who recently took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the Bantamweight contest this past weekend.
Despite the bad blood between the two stemming from TJ Dillashaw testing positive for EPO use in his bout against Cejudo.’Triple C’ chose to put on his analyst hat while assessing the fight and gave credit to Dillashaw for his gritty performance.

” I do believe he won the fight. Even though he got beat up he controlled more of the time and I don’t think we give credit to that you know.”
Admitting that while Sandhagen seemed to land the harder shots, Cejudo believes TJ’s constant pressure and superior wrestling ability allowed him to control and dictate the pace of the fight.
Furthermore, ‘Triple C’ shared a few of his observations regarding Cory Sandhagen, the first one being his inability to deal with a superior wrestler, which was on display in his first loss in the UFC against Aljamain Sterling. And secondly, the lack of power in his punches while backing up.
Applauding the competitive nature of the bout, Cejudo rested his case only after stating that both Cory and TJ won’t go past two rounds with him being the opponent.
Breaking down the fight.
