When asked about how McGregor’s recovery was going and by when everyone can expect him to return, Kavanagh said, “Yeah, I was actually only speaking to him a couple of hours ago… He’s gonna be back in the gym. He’s gonna be back on the mats now, in the next couple of weeks with me. He is doing a lot of strength training at the moment, the guy’s jacked. I think he’s coming back as a middleweight.”

“He’d be back on the mats with me now shortly. We’ll start off with combat sports training again. We’ll start with drills. I actually joked to him. I said look, I’d rather if we just start off with some techniques and drills. Let’s see where you are going. He’s like, no, I’m going five by five, that’s what I’m coming back to do. He’s very enthusiastic, very upbeat, very excited to attack 2022. I’m not sure when he’d be back, but he’ll be back,” he added.
Conor McGregor is ready for war
Ever since McGregor has got back to training, a lot of fighters are looking to fight him on his return. ‘The Notorious‘, in one of his posts, declared war against everyone.
In the post, he wrote, “Me and all you pull out merchants are not the same! You are b**ch made and I’m now steel. This game has just begun. Know that all my enemies are of similar age and experience, and for this reason, I hereby declare this war forever! McGregor Forever.”
