The UFC president, Dana White, has been receiving severe criticism from fans and the media for the brutality displayed in his new venture, “The Power Slap: Road to the Title.” The reality series was difficult to watch as contenders received heavy blows from their opponents. Furthermore, when the opponent is attacking, a contender cannot defend as per the rules of the league. Instead, the contender has to wait until his turn to pay back the slap. Some of the MMA fighters came to the forefront to point out the absurdity of the show. According to them, slapping each other cannot be considered a sport, and it has no bright future.

Even though the show tanked from the premiere, White was stubborn enough to take the fight to the finale. Even after the show’s finale, the 53-year-old is working from fingers to the bone to lift the league to new heights. Followed by the finale of the show, some of the famous athletes came forward to appreciate White, and the most notable one among them was the boxing legend, Mike Tyson. Mike Tyson took to Instagram to congratulate Dana White on the successful completion of the first season of his new venture. However, fans were disheartened to learn that a legend like Mike Tyson supports something as brutal as the power slap.
