Francis Ngannou, the UFC heavyweight champion of the world, has been in a feud with the promotion for a long time now. Earlier, UFC wanted him to defend his title in three to four months of becoming the champion.

However, ‘The Predator’ denied. And hence, the promotion snubbed the champion and set up an interim title fight between Ciryl Gane and Derrick Lewis. The Frenchmen won the fight and later fought a unification bout against the Cameroonian champion at UFC 270.

Recently, the heavyweight champion gave his thoughts on the promotion showing favoritism toward the interim champion in the lead up to UFC 270. Ngannou, on his official YouTube channel, said, “Oh, definitely I am not a good guy for the UFC anymore at all. So yeah, starting from not signing those contracts, you know.”

“Saying no multiple times and this is something that they don’t like. But I have to like look up to myself. You know, trying to do what is best for me. There’s a lot of time in that contract that I would like to,”– he added.

“I don’t like them, you know. The fact that it’s a one-way contract, you know. I have no guarantee. In the past two years, they claim to provide three fights for their fighter every year. But in the past two years. I fought twice. I could at least fight like five times,”– Ngannou concluded.

Even though many believed ‘Bon Gamin’ could defeat the champion, Ngannou turned all odds. He showcased improved performance and defeated the Frenchman. However, the champion still has ongoing issues regarding his pay with the promotion.
