The second UFC pay-per-view event of the year will see legendary UFC commentator Joe Rogan return to the center stage amidst the Spotify furor.

The veteran color commentator’s return to the commentary table guaranteed some mixed reactions from people on Twitter. Although combat sports fans were delighted by the news, some had their own reservations.

“People thought they could cancel Rogan,” a fan trolled the cancel culture.

“I assume the Rock won’t be attending this or any future UFC events..” a fan reacted to ‘The Rock’ walking back from his support of Joe Rogan.

“Can one fighter come out to Neil Young’s song for their entrance music?” a fan had an interesting proposition for fighters.

“Has DC done his homework as recommended by Dominick Cruz? I just hope I wouldn’t have to mute his commentary,” fans had some other interesting questions as well.

“Y’all thought Rogan wasn’t gonna be there?” a fan laughed at all the speculations.

Joe Rogan will appear at his fourth consecutive PPV event

The UFC will make a return to the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas for the UFC 271 event headlined by a rematch between ace middleweights Israel Adesanya and Robert Whittaker.

The co-main event will see the knockout king of the UFC, Derrick ‘The Black Beast’ Lewis, return to the cage against Tai ‘Bam Bam’ Tuivasa, in front of his home crowd. Lewis will look to delight his home fans with a win after he lost his previous fight in The Lone Star State.

According to MMAFighting, the commentary team for the UFC PPV event comprises longtime color commentator Joe Rogan joined by Jon Anik, and former UFC double-division champion Daniel Cormier.

It will be the trio’s fourth event in a row at the desk since UFC 268: Usman vs. Covington. Previously, Rogan had missed two US PPVs due to external factors.

Fans speculated Rogan, who has been at the center of quite a few controversies since the start of the year, would not make a public appearance. However, Rogan, who has been with the UFC for almost 20 years, is unfazed by it.
