“I think Jones will do well in heavyweight if he can keep the guys from hitting him. I had a hard time punching Jon Jones. I don’t think I landed anything clean on him. If he’s gotten even 1% better at avoiding getting hit in the face, I think he will do well at heavyweight.”
“He’s a great wrestler and I think he’ll be able to control the fight and take him down. One thing about Jon Jones, he has a strong mind and whatever he puts his mind to, he can do it. I just hope he puts his mind to focusing on his career and clean up his personal life.”
Fans are keenly awaiting Jon Jones’ move-up in weight and want to see him test himself against some heavy hitters. Seeing Jones go toe-to-toe against KO specialists like Derrick Lewis and Francis Ngannou is especially riveting. However, there’s no clarity as to when Jones will actually decide to bite the bullet and move to heavyweight.
