“If Joe Rogan and Dana White Says It Is Law”- Tyron Woodley Explains How UFC Fans Have Been Brainwashed

Tyron Woodley is all set to make his professional boxing debut this Sunday. The former UFC champion will face Jake Paul in one of the most anticipated events of the year. Woodley has had a great MMA career and has an MMA record of (19-7) and successfully defended his UFC title 4 times.
However, despite all his achievements, there were many fans who did not consider Woodley a top fighter and hated him. During a recent interview with Ariel Helwani, Woodley was asked about the same. Helwani asked the former champion about what he thinks of the people who were critical of him.

Woodley said, “I don’t take it personally because everyone didn’t know me. It will make me laugh coz of this damn point. They didn’t know me, people that know me, they understood my stance where I came from. People that knew behind the scenes what I had to go through, whether it was negotiations contracts. Or with the weight cut, I was 205lbs, and I was lean ripped and I was killing myself to get down to 170.”
“And when you think about those things, can I really be mad at them. They don’t even know me. They say what I taught them to say, nobody is reading books, nobody is doing investigations or doing research.”
“If Joe Rogan says it law, Dana White says it law. They don’t go and check stats; they echo it. ‘Tyron Chokes in a big fight’ ah ‘Tyron chokes in big fights’. They don’t even change a word.”
Tyron Woodley says it’s good to have people support you
Many MMA and UFC fans did not appreciate Woodley while he was an active fighter. Now though, as the fighter is set to face, ‘The Problem Child’ may consider Woodley to be the representative of MMA against the boxer Paul. Therefore, recently, Woodley has garnered increased support from MMA fans all around the world.

When asked about how this supports feels to him. Woodley said, “So at the end of the day if they wanna support me now. I am gonna take the support. Because I know the support can leave at any moment. It can be here, it can be there.”

“I’ve been at the top, I’ve been at the bottom, I’ve been in the middle and I’ve been all over the place so. I think it’s good to have people see and believe in you and give hope and be inspired by you and feel something about you.”
