Israel Adesanya is widely popular not just for being a dominant fighter but also as an entertainer. ‘Stylebender’ is known for his unique walkouts and post-fight energetic celebrations. Just like that, Adesanya celebrated his win with Odell Beckham Jr. in the crowd at UFC 287. The two-time UFC champion may have landed in a controversial debate for some of the celebrations he did inside the octagon.

The UFC fighter taunted Alex Pereira‘s son just like the way his son did after Pereira’s KO over Adesanya in kickboxing. Some fans are criticizing ‘The Last Stylebender’ for this move. However, a UFC legend has spoken on behalf of Adesanya in a latest video.

The former fighter added, “I am giving justification for Izzy. Its that maybe he could have had a word with his son and say ‘Hey don’t do that. Don’t mock somebody that’s been knocked out unconscious and maybe you owe Israel an apology’. As I said, I’m not telling him how to father his son.”

Bisping clarified his stance on the matter. He further justified by saying that in ‘Stylebender’s’ mind, he was just looking to show Pereira’s son how it felt.

The UFC commentator added, “But in Israel’s mind,… ‘When I got knocked out you mocked me. Well guess what now you gonna see how that feels when its your father sitting there’. And hey, maybe Izzy taught him a lifelong lesson. Something very very valuable there.”
