Colby Covington is probably the most polarizing figure in MMA today. He is an amazing fighter and one of the best the UFC has on its roster. However, his approach to a fight and his trash talk divide people. Many believe it is a gimmick from his side, and he is actually not like that, but Jorge Masvidal doesn’t believe that.

According to ‘Gamebred,’ he saw who Covington was quite early on. In an interview, he revealed various incidents of ‘Chaos’ not being respectful towards people around him. The BMF said, “There’s numerous interviews of him calling me his best friend. I really wouldn’t do that because I would see signs.”

“The way he treat his family, the way he talked about his sister, the way he talk about his mama. There’s three sides to every story. There’s yours, theirs, and the truth.”

“With Jon Jones, he had numerous situations. He would always talk bad about Jon Jones. Woodley, I was there for the whole thing. So, Jon Jones, I wasn’t there in college with him, but the whole Woodley thing, I was.”

“Woodley brought him out. He was giving him like $1000 a week, something crazy like that. When this guy was an amateur, just to train with him for four weeks. Sponsors, food, and then he came back just talking s**t about Woodley… There’s like nobody he respects whatsoever.”

Masvidal started separating himself from Covington. However, according to him, before he could do it fully, ‘Chaos’ betrayed his coach and didn’t pay him. Ever since then, ‘Gamebred’ has been looking to fight him. The BMF champion recently left a video message for his rival.
