Former interim UFC welterweight champion Colby Covington has made quite an image of himself with his brash persona & unreal fighting skills inside the Octagon. The second-best welterweight in the UFC makes noise everywhere he goes and with anything he does.
As per the norm, ‘Chaos‘ gave his analysis of a PPV (the main event of UFC 274) as he endorsed a brand. The welterweight took a shot at the former interim UFC lightweight champion and one-half of the main event, Justin Gaethje, who is also the main training partner of ‘The Nigerian Nightmare‘ Kamaru Usman.

However, what stood out was him donning Kanye West shoes. Covington was wearing Yeezy sneakers.

In the video posted by Covington on his Instagram, he called Gaethje ‘duck lip.’ Also, he asserted himself as Brazil’s favorite fighter and described Oliveira as ‘Brazil’s second favorite fighter.’
Earlier, Gaethje also took a shot at Covington on the Nelk Boys’ Full Send Podcast. Thus, ‘Chaos’ seemingly issued his words as a direct response to ‘The Highlight’ rather than one initiating the banter. Covington also warned Gaethje about getting inside the Octagon with him.
Will Colby Covington and Justin Gaethje ever fight & Who has the edge?
Justin Gaethje will enter his second undisputed title bout in the main event of UFC 274. As ‘Do Bronx’ missed weight, ‘The Highlight’ will be the only one eligible to win the belt. The bad weight cut suggests Gaethje has a great chance of winning the bout. However, if he misses his mark, he would find himself 0-2 in undisputed UFC title bouts and a move to welterweight may not be far.

Covington is looking for big fights at 170, and Justin Gaethje just might be one after the former failed in his attempt to lure Dustin Poirier into a UFC fight.
As far as skills go, both fighters have very contrasting styles, yet they both use extreme pressure to put their opponents in uncomfortable positions. Covington uses his offensive wrestling, whereas Gaethje uses leg kicks and hands to get the job done inside the Octagon.
