Mike ‘Platinum’ Perry, the former UFC fighter who transitioned into bare-knuckle boxing, recently appeared on the JRE podcast ‘MMA Show’. During his conversation with Joe Rogan, Perry expressed his interest in working on films, hoping to explore a career beyond combat sports.

This led to an engaging discussion about which movie franchise would be a perfect fit for Perry’s larger-than-life personality and physicality. Rogan had a suggestion that caught Perry’s attention. And it involves guns, action, and those iconic sharp suits!

Rogan then proposed the idea of Perry being a part of the John Wick franchise. Excitedly, Perry responded, “Let’s go! Keanu bro…” and playfully waved his hands around, mimicking karate chops.

Rogan further emphasized that Perry would make an amazing bad-guy assassin, donning a sharp suit. Rogan emphasized, stating, “That actually would work, I could actually see that.” 

Fans of the podcast will know that Joe Rogan is a huge John Wick fan. And has also been spotted training with guns at Taran Tactical, the company responsible for training Keanu Reeves for the John Wick series of films. As such, his encouragement of Perry comes as no surprise!
