UFC middleweight Khamzat ‘Borz’ Chimaev has recently been making fans sit on the edges of their seats. And not for the same reasons as his fights inside the Octagon. The undefeated Chechen has recently been playing with the emotions of his fans on Twitter.

Chimaev posted some graphic images of him in the hospital, suggesting that the health of the welterweight has taken a turn for the worse. However, Borz deleted the post not long after. The next post he uploaded told a completely different story than the previous post he had uploaded.

The undefeated middleweight, in the first post that startled fans, wrote, “I was very sick, my hand was injured, so I couldn’t return right away, I want to tell all the fountains [fans], I want to see myself in battle more than all of you, I love this job, I will do and prove that I am the best, as always we do, and I will be back soon to Insha’Allal training.”

Which was then followed by a series of pictures of people who looked horrifyingly ill. However, that wasn’t the only reason the undefeated UFC middleweight was the talk of the MMA town. He uploaded another video after taking the first post down, which told a completely different story.

Khamzat Chimaev uploaded a video on Twitter saying, “I’m coming back for my belts.” In the video, Chimaev seemed to be looking way healthier and better than he did in the pictures. Perhaps even suggesting a return for a title fight sooner than what fight fans are anticipating.

Borz had originally secured the No.1 contender spot after beating Kamaru Usman. However, that was before Khamzat Chimaev got sidelined due to injuring his hand against Kamaru Usman. So what would be next for the undefeated middleweight?
