Khamzat Chimaev is one of the most popular fighters in the world right now. Despite only four fights in the UFC, Chimaev is being looked at as the future champion in the promotion. He recently rag-dolled Li Jingliang at UFC 267, a guy who was supposed to be his toughest test yet. However, Colby Covington is not sold on ‘Borz’ yet.
In the lead-up to his UFC welterweight title fight against Kamaru Usman, Covington trolled and ripped into Chimaev.
However, the Swede doesn’t seem to be bothered by the comments made by ‘Chaos.’ He recently responded to the remarks made by Covington. ‘Borz’ took a series of photos to Twitter, mocking the amount of punishment Colby received against Usman in the first fight. Above the picture, he wrote, “You will never see me like this.”

With the success Chimaev has found in the UFC, it won’t be surprising if both men meet inside the octagon soon. ‘Borz‘ is currently 4-0 in the UFC and has won ‘Performance of the Night’ bonuses for all four fights.

Colby Covington didn’t hold back
Covington was asked if Chimaev would get a shot at the title if he beats Usman. In reply, ‘Chaos’ didn’t hesitate to let his feelings known about “c**mshot Chimaev.” He said, “You know, c**mshot Chimaev, he’s got to do a lot more work than get three fights in the UFC. You guys (media) hype these guys up real quick. Let’s not forget he was put down by the common cold.”

“He was ready to retire off the common cold. That’s a 99.9 percent survival rate to beat the common cold, and c**mshot Chimaev was ready to give up and retire. He doesn’t want to fight me. He’s got a way less chance than 99.9 percent chance against me,” he added.
