The UFC might not be known for paying fighters as well as leagues like the NFL or NBA, but there’s still a chance for athletes to make serious money and live a king-size life. Fighters like Israel Adesanya, Alex Pereira, and Jon Jones are good examples. But Conor McGregor is the one who really put UFC luxury on the map. And now, Khamzat Chimaev has also joined that elite list.

Not much is actually known about how the newly crowned middleweight champion spends his money, but he definitely seems to have a thing for luxury cars. It’s a pretty common move once you hit stardom. But what’s surprising is that the Chechen native owns some awe-inspiring rides that anyone would be proud to have. And now he adds another one!

Khamzat Chimaev adds a Ferrari to his luxury car collection

The JAXXON Podcast, run by former UFC light-heavyweight champ Rampage Jackson and his partner Bear Degidio, posted a video on X titled “@KChimaev received a new @Ferrari 🔥.” In the video, Khamzat Chimaev is seen driving a black Ferrari SF90 Stradale, which costs around $625,000 to $650,000. That car definitely screams luxury and status—something that’s only been amplified since ‘Borz’ became the middleweight champ at UFC 319.

But the Ferrari is just the latest addition. Chimaev already owns some top-of-the-line supercars. A few weeks ago, he received an $84,000 Rolls-Royce from Russian blogger Mikhail Litvin, according to a Facebook post by Legionnaire Combat Sports. And that’s not all! The Chechen head of state, Ramzan Kadyrov, also gifted him a Mercedes GLS 600 after his win over Dricus du Plessis in Chicago.

So, it looks like money isn’t a problem for the 185lbs kingpin—he’s probably set for life. And that’s exactly why some fans worry he might not stay as active. Even a fellow middleweight has already talked about Chimaev possibly retiring because he’s ridiculously rich.

Caio Borralho wanted ‘Borz’ to retire

The UFC middleweight division was once shaken by rumors that Khamzat Chimaev was planning to retire after his UFC 319 bout. Behind this talk was his former training partner and fellow 185er, Caio Borralho. The Fighting Nerds captain confidently claimed that the Chechen native was considering retirement, and the reason he gave was nothing but the cash Chimaev’s been making.

What’s your perspective on:

Is Chimaev's car collection a sign of success, or is he losing focus on his fighting career?

Have an interesting take?

In a submission radio interview back in July, Borralho stated, “I have heard some whispers, a little talks, some whispers about that. If he wins the bout, he retires. But it’s an option, you know. There’s too much pressure on him. Health problems and a lot of pressure from his country. I don’t know, maybe he retires, maybe not. He has a lot of money already, he’s good with money. He’ll already be the champion. So, why not just retire?”

Well, the Brazilian just wanted to point out that Chimaev doesn’t actually need to fight for money. Along with those cars, he’s got some seriously cool watches that prove the point. But ‘Borz’ isn’t fighting for cash—he’s fighting for legacy. And in chasing that, he’s only getting richer. Plus, after becoming champion, his popularity and market value have skyrocketed, and that’s only going to keep benefiting him as long as he stays on top.

Though Chimaev is reaping rewards in fame and material spoils, several observers have flagged travel and diplomatic complications arising from his close ties with Ramzan Kadyrov. Reports suggest that visa issues, particularly entering the United States, may have stemmed in part from his association with Kadyrov, who is under U.S. sanctions. Chimaev has pursued citizenship or permanent residency in the UAE and holds a long-term visa there. These steps appear aimed at resolving travel restrictions that previously impacted his ability to fight stateside.

That said, what do you think about Khamzat Chimaev’s luxury car collection? Is it already impressive, or is he missing a Lamborghini or an Aston Martin? Also, does the symbolism behind who gifts him cars, and how he displays them, matter more than the vehicles themselves? Let us know in the comments below!
