The 32-year-old looked very confident since the first bell. Although Goldy tried to take McCann on the mat early, she failed. Later, McCann went all guns blazing on the American and forced referee Herb Dean to jump in and stop the fight.
‘Meatball’ came into the bout on the back of two wins. Both of her previous wins came via a knockout. She also won ‘Performance of the Night’ and ‘Fight of the Night’ bonuses for her previous victories. On the other hand, ‘24k’ came on the back of just one win in this bout.

Although McCann has racked up three straight wins in the UFC, she is still an unranked fighter in the flyweight division. However, this win might just land her in the top 15 of the division.
After such a stunning performance, fans will surely expect more from the British female fighter. However, McCann didn’t announce any name in the octagon interview that she would like to fight in her next.
But a contender from the top 15 of the division would certainly be viable for the 32-year-old, given her good recent UFC run. Also, if she gets through a top-ranked fighter, it will excel her chances of getting a title shot.
