Dustin Poirier is recovering from an infection that kept him in the hospital for a while. The infection had scared fans as ESPN reporter Brett Okamoto reported that the fighter was not responding to antibiotics. Fortunately for fans ‘McG slayer’ is now getting better with each passing day. In a recent exclusive talk with US Magazine, Dustin Poirier revealed some facts about himself that were unknown to fans till now. Dustin Poirier shared his favorite city, dishes to try with him, and even what he does to decompress. He also revealed the name of the most famous guy on his phone who isn’t a UFC fighter.

The most famous person on ‘The Diamond’s phone happens to be a stand-up comedian and actor, Kevin James. James, however, is also a “F**king Serious Martial artist” according to Joe Rogan. The veteran UFC commentator had discussed James on his show, ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ back in 2018.

Dustin Poirier is not the only admirer of James’ martial art skills
While Poirier did mention that Kevin James was the most famous man in his phonebook, Joe Rogan put a seal of approval for Kevin James being a solid Martial Artist. In 2018, Rogan hosted Dutch-American actor Bas Rutten in episode #22 of the JRE MMA show. The duo talked about how powerful Kevin James was as a Martial artist.

Joe Rogan said, “Kevin is a fu**** serious martial artist, too. People don’t realize that. He can hit man. He’s got fu**** power.”
Not only Rogan, his guest and Kevin James‘ co-star Bas Rutten too described an event that showed how powerful Kevin James was.

Talking about the Hollywood flick “Here Comes the Boom” Rutten said how Kevin James once lifted a co-actor thrice and made his co-actors watch, so no one questioned his strength later.

Rutten recalled, “So all these extras are there. He says Chris, just lay down, puts him in an armbar. He lifts Christopher above his head, puts him back, lifts him up his head, brings him back, and does it three times in a row.”

Rutten Further added, ” He says, Did you see that I just had to bring it out now because the cable comes in everybody says that I can’t do it and everybody was like what? “
