‘My Journey Isn’t Your Journey’ – Dana White Says Kids Will Have to Face Their Own ‘Sh*t’

White has been the backbone of the UFC for the last 2 decades and has helped the company achieve outstanding success. Today, White is amongst the most popular faces associated with the UFC and is well known all around. However, the UFC President had humble beginnings and has faced much adversity in his life.

Recently, during an interview with Tough Business, White talked about his schooling days and how he never tells his kids about how he really was back then.
He said, “I think you try to be the best example you can [be] for your children; you know. As you said, you want better for them. I su*ked in school, I fu*king, I ditched school as much as I possibly could.”

“I never wanted to be there. But you never tell your kids any of those stories about what an as*hole you were. You make it sound like you were the student of the fu*king year.”
Dana White talks about how he and his kids will not have the same experiences
White continued to talk about raising his kids, and how they will have their own experiences. He said, “I think the biggest thing for your kids is special when you have parents that have achieved or accomplished things and stuff. My journey isn’t your journey.”
“My kids are never gonna grow up the way that I grew up. You know they’ll never experience the type of things I’ve experienced. But they are gonna experience sh*t I never did. Their journey is completely different from mine and I want them to be the best them they can ever be.”
