How many losses has Paddy Pimblett got?

Paddy Pimblett suffered his first loss early on in his career. On his fifth outing inside the cage, Pimblett lost to Cameron Else via submission in a bantamweight bout at Cage Warriors Fighting Championship (CWFC 60). Cameron Else was able to secure an Anaconda Choke quite early into the first round, forcing Pimblett to tap.

What happened when Paddy Pimblett fought Jared Gordon?

From being one of the most hyped, fan-favorite fighters in the UFC, Paddy Pimblett went to become one of the most hated. The beginning of the end for Pimblett could be traced back to one fight- Paddy Pimblett’s UFC 282 clash against Jared Gordon in December 2022.

The three-round contest went to the distance, with Pimblett being adjudged the winner on all three judges’ scorecards. This came as a surprise to almost everyone since the fight had been incredibly close, at least on the feet, with both men landing roughly the same number of strikes. On the other hand, Gordon had a clear advantage in grappling and even managed over six minutes of control time in the bout.

Even Joe Rogan, who entered the octagon after Pimblett-Gordon for the post-fight interview, would ask Pimblett what his reaction was to the “close fight” While the Scouser would tell Rogan he was puzzled why people felt the fight was close, fans, and even other fighters overwhelmingly felt that the result was a robbery.

Most felt that Pimblett did not deserve a unanimous decision and at least a split decision would have been understandable. Pimblett’s reaction to the bout and insistence that he clearly won would also contribute significantly to fans turning against the Englishman. What are your thoughts about the result of Pimblett-Gordon?
