Over the years, various men have done the commentary for UFC events. However, this changed when Laura Sanko stepped into the game. Sanko became the first woman to commentate on the Dana White contender series. Sanko has also been working as an interviewer/analyst. While many people appreciate Sanko for her work, some people simply choose to troll her. In an interview, Sanko addressed the people who belong to the latter category.

In her interview, Sanko said, “It is tough and there is a whole contingent of people out there that think I got this job in some untoward and scandalous way…That part is tough and it’s a weird thing. Because it’s like, on one hand, people be like, oh she only has this job because she looks a certain way.”

Because it’s certainly something that has ramped up more as the UFC has started to put me in these positions to have opinions.”

Her training and career in Martial Arts have helped Sanko to analyze the fights and interview the fighters better. It is also the reason she did so well as a commentator on Dana White’s Contender Series and on why her fans adore her.
