Ryan Garcia is making headlines in the combat sports world. While he may be looking to get the biggest win of his career on April 20, when he’ll face his arch-nemesis, Devin Haney, that’s not why he’s making headlines. This has to do with some very disturbing posts on his social media accounts. The posts were weird enough as they are, but what added an extra layer of eeriness was the mention of Joe Rogan.

Ryan Garcia isn’t the only one to have addressed The Grove

The now-deleted posts mentioned things like, “The files of UFOs are coming out for a reason,” “This isn’t Ryan I’ve hacked his sh*t,” and even claims that Garcia’s throat had been slit. But what caught the UFC community’s attention the most was a particular tweet that not only mentioned Rogan but also an inaccessible campground that’s the center of many conspiracy theories.

The post read, “Bohemian Grove. I was the only [one] to expose them. They were in the woods. Joe Rogan and Alex Woods say the same thing, and I’m the bad guy.” The Bohemian Grove is a restricted 2,700-acre campground in California where the rich and powerful, called ‘The Elites,’ allegedly meet every year. Per radio host Alex Jones, it was started by Mark Twain, and although nothing about it has been proven, Jones secured footage of a ritual in 2000.

Joe Rogan has also touched upon the conspiracy theories surrounding the place a couple of times in the past. One of them was with Alex Jones himself, where he talked about the aforementioned ritual. More recently, he brought it up in a conversation with Kid Rock, who claimed he went to the Grove and got kicked out because he “punched a kid in the head.” As for Ryan Garcia, he, too, opened up about an experience he had at the Grove.

Garcia joined Andrew Tate recently for an interview on X Spaces. He revealed, “They took me to the f***ing woods, and they tied me down. I’m not f***ing joking. I have f***ing proof. Bohemian Grove is real. They f***ing tied me down, and they made me f*cking watch. Yes, I f***ing lost it.” When asked if he has proof, the 25-year-old said, “If Alex [Jones] could get a video from the Bohemian Grove, of course I could.”

With all this controversy in the build-up to Garcia’s fight against Devin Haney, the WBC super lightweight champion addressed the posts. In a now-deleted tweet, Haney wrote, “The fight is happening April 20th.. he’s just playing crazy to “sell it” which is weird because it’s people who are actually crazy out there, but he’s just acting for attention.” While Haney felt Garcia was doing all this just for show, the former champion cleared the air. But not before getting his ex-wife worried.

Garcia’s ex-wife was very concerned for him

Many have been worried for Garcia since the entire fiasco began, especially his ex-wife. Ryan Garcia was married to Andrea Célina, who is a Mexican fitness influencer and the mother of two of his children. In light of recent events, Andrea wrote on her Instagram story: “If all my followers, who are believers, can you please pray for Ryan?”

“We are not together, and I’ve been in contact with him.” She added, “He may seem fine, but he is not. I know in my heart that he is being heavily oppressed. This is not a troll. I am genuinely concerned, and so are all his family members.” A few hours after this, though, Garcia addressed the situation himself, much to everyone’s relief.

He said, “Hey guys, it’s Ryan. I’m coming on here to explain what’s going on. I’m not in possession of my phone, I can’t get access to my Instagram. My cards are locked. I’m being really taking advantage [of].” The entire saga has been worrisome for not just those around Ryan Garcia but for the whole of the combat sports community.
