Sean Strickland often attracts a lot of attention with his trash-talking. He put this nature on show when he appeared as an online guest on the noted MMA coverage personality, Ariel Helwani’s noted podcast, ‘The MMA Hour’. ‘Tarzan’ started off dissing Helwani, presenting his opinion that Helwani should’ve never covered the sport of MMA. He also stated that Helwani wasn’t probably a fan of MMA.
However, he received a befitting reply from the 40-year-old which had the fans declaring Helwani as the winner of the verbal scuffle. But, recently, Strickland posted a short clip to his Instagram story intending to take one more jibe at the noted MMA coverage person.

‘Tarzan’ somehow had the opinion that Helwani wasn’t man enough for MMA. In his ‘The MMA Hour’ appearance too, Strickland stated, “Good job you fu**ing beta male, I like that”. He probably wanted to reverberate the same statement with his Instagram story, which contained an old video of the noted UFC Heavyweight, Quinton Jackson having a verbal scuffle with a much younger Ariel Helwani.
‘Rampage’ was probably annoyed at Helwani as well, since he, too, tried to disrespect him by calling him a beta male. Jackson stated, “What people don’t know about fighters is we’re alphas. And guys like this, [Helwani] they don’t like alpha males.”

He continued his diss towards Helwani stating, “That’s why they try to pick on us, coz they’re more intelligent and stuff than us but that’s all they got”. It’s pertinent to note that Strickland also chose of mocking Helwani regarding the same issue.
Ariel Helwani had given a befitting reply to Sean Strickland, which led to the Instagram story
It was Strickland who started off the scuffle, stating that Helwani wasn’t fit for MMA coverage. Evidently, Helwani didn’t take very kindly to it. After all these years of MMA journalism, he definitely wasn’t ready to hear this from a person who knew nothing about sports coverage.
‘Tarzan’ stated, “I don’t know how you got this job, bro. You should be like a golf commentator, a golf analyst. I don’t think you’re a big MMA fan. I’m just saying is this wasn’t your job, bro. I don’t think you would be at the bar with the boys watching motherf***ers get knocked out.”

This was too much for the Montreal-based journalist as he went on to fire a barrage of verbal shots at ‘Tarzan’. Helwani stated, “I was at the bar watching MMA when you were in your father’s nuts**k. When you didn’t even know what MMA was, I was talking about MMA. I was doing a radio show at Syracuse University in 2001. You were in fourth grade when I was talking about MMA.”

However, Helwani hasn’t provided any response to ‘Tarzan’s’ status as of now. It will be really to note his response if it comes at all.
