Conor McGregor and his antics are not new for the people to witness. However, he mostly keeps his family under the radar and away from the media. But a recent report by ‘Sunday Morning’ suggests that his sister, Aoife McGregor, is dating a gangster by the name of Graham ‘The Wig’ Whelan.

‘Notorious’ is never short of getting into trouble. In 2017, McGregor found himself in an alarming incident after punching a known Mafia associate in an Irish pub after an argument. The person was believed to be the father of Graham Whelan. His actions caused the Mafia to put a €900,000 bounty on the former UFC champion’s head.

According to ‘Sunday World’, Conor McGregor’s sister and the Kinahan Organized Crime Group member went public about their relationship. They also shared a picture together, which was taken days after Graham Whelan got released from the Mountjoy Prison in the Irish capital of Dublin. After pleading guilty to money laundering charges, Whelan went to prison for a year to serve his sentence. He also had a watch and cash that had been determined to be proceeds of crime.

There were also several reports that suggested Conor McGregor shared friendly relations with Graham Whelan. ‘The Wig’ even played for the Black Forge football, which is owned by the former UFC double champion. Confirmations of McGregor’s relationship with Whelan came to the fore when a Kinahan Cartel member replied to Floyd Mayweather, who tweeted about the €900,000 bounty on McGregor’s head. The cartel member asked the undefeated boxing legend not to believe everything that is written in news tabloids.
