However, it’s the way UFC lightweight star confronts his friend that has got everyone talking. The 34-year-old MMA fighter’s instinctive reaction to it happens to be him barking at his friend. Yes, that’s what happened right there. And the fans couldn’t love it more.

Poirier said, “It’s a fight that makes me nervous… When I hear a name, and I get nervous, it’s motivation. Those are the kind of fights that I want. Same thing with Chandler. When I heard Chandler’s name when they called me with Michael Chandler, I was nervous because I knew the dangers of those kinds of fights and that’s what motivates me.” He added, “So, same thing with Justin. If they do call me, and he’s the name that they say, maybe it happens. We’ll see.”
