However, Israel Adesanya is still salty about his defeat against the Brazilian and declared he wanted a rematch. But even ‘The Stylebender’ couldn’t deny how iconic and appreciable his opponent’s entrance routine is.

The Brazilian middleweight champion’s son took a liking to his father’s ways. His father always does a ritual before tearing his opponents down. The bow-and-arrow walkout looks intimidating but is a sign of respect for his culture.

Pereira told “I made a ritual with the bow and arrow. Then a sequence with the indigenous music and that’s how it started.” and explained how the gesture is rooted in his native Patxohã tribe.

Pereira’s son, Alessandro Vidal Silva, mimicked his father’s iconic walkout, while in his seat at The UFC 281, showing his support for his father. In a post on Instagram by Full Violence: “Like father, like son. 🏹”

Even his rival, Israel Adesanya, admitted that his walkout was “beautiful. That’s a gangsta f*cking entrance.” “The costume, the villainry of it…” after doing an impression of it on Stand-up comedian Andrew Schultz’s podcast.

But the former middleweight champion wanted a rematch and was backing himself up, despite losing thrice against Alex Pereira in his combat sports career.

“I’m gonna fight him two more times. I’m gonna whoop him the next time.” and spoke about a possible trilogy battle in the UFC.

Fans admired how the young man looked up to his dad and can soon start raking up a body count of his own.
