The world was ready to witness one of the unlikeliest of fights between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg. But there has been no development regarding that potential fight. Meanwhile, UFC CEO Dana White recently revealed that the fight between the two tech moguls is not going to become a reality.

Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg clearly have a lot of differences in the way they go about their businesses. They have disagreed multiple times on a variety of issues and recently got into a social media war when the SpaceX CEO suggested that they should have a cage fight. However, Dana White believes that their fight will always remain a dream.

Regardless of how people may feel about this, Dana White has finally revealed that the fight between Musk and Zuckerberg is not going to take place. It was a highly anticipated bout that saw both tech billionaires training for their potential fight. However, fans will not get to witness it. White told Piers Morgan“We were talking about it earlier on. I think that has fallen apart.”

Furthermore, the 54-year-old MMA promoter also mentioned that the fight between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg would have proved to be a financial success. “I think that had it happened and had we moved forward and done it, it would have done a billion dollars in revenue,” said Dana White. When asked about who the UFC CEO thinks would have won, he had an unusual response.

Dana White stated that he had no idea who’d have won the fight. Moreover, he took reference to how WWE scripts its fights and said that he would have to be Vince McMahon to know the outcome of the battle of the billionaires. White said, “If I knew the answer to that [who’d have won], I’d be Vince McMahon. Who wins and who loses, I don’t determine. They do.”

Moreover, he mentioned that the fight had the potential to overshadow every other major fight in history, be it boxing or MMA. Dana White believes that it could have been the biggest fight in the history of combat sports. “It would have been huge, it would have been the biggest fight in the history of the world,” the UFC boss added.

Even though the fans wanted to see this fight, Mark Zuckerberg had already mentioned that he was moving on. It is partly due to Elon Musk’s lack of response and initiative to set up the fight, even when he was the one who suggested it. It will always remain a question in people’s minds about how big of an event it would have been if they really fought each other.
