Hollywood hunk Tom Hardy‘s jiu-jitsu exploits continue to impress MMA fans. Hardy surprised fans last year by winning multiple jiu-jitsu tournaments. The 45-year-old competed in an exhibition tournament organized by REORG, to help train disabled combat veterans in the UK. Hardy bagged a gold medal there. Later, in 2022, the Englishman repeated the feat at the 2022 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Open championships. Now, a video showcasing his BJJ skills has fans calling for a fight with Hollywood star Jake Gyllenhaal.

Jake Gyllenhaal recently got the attention of MMA fans, thanks to his collaboration with Conor McGregor on Prime Video’s upcoming project ‘Road House.’ Gyllenhaal portrays a UFC fighter (Dalton) in the film and the crew shot some of his scenes around the UFC 285 weigh-ins and PPV. Now that fans have seen the martial arts side of both Gyllenhaal and Hardy, they are calling for a celebrity match-up.

  • Tom Hardy vs Jake Gyllenhaal, book it
  • Idk who made this video showcasing his “skills” but y’all definitely need to try again I’m sure there’s a lot more to show than just a trip and a collar grab
  • He actually has way better videos of him doing bjj, and he’s a pretty solid blue belt competitor from what I’ve seen.
  • he’s good for a hobbyist in his 40s. good for him putting himself out there competing against regular guys that probably train a lot more than him who would love to have a clip of them smashing/beating him. BJJ/grappling can always use more positive representation, especially for the causes he supports.
  • So glad to see Tom doesn’t pull guard

“Unhinged. No Self Control”: UFC World Reacts as Jake Gyllenhaal Films Road House Movie Fight Scene at UFC 285

  • he’s James Bond irl he just doesn’t want us to know
  • Some are forgetting he’s still a blue belt. Maybe even top end of that ranking. Blackbelt is when your submissions shine, not blue belt which is all about survival at a slightly elevated level. I don’t think it gets enough credit about the difficulties in mastering how your body works.
  • I would to see Tom Hardy and Jake Gyllenhaal in John Wick 5
  • Regardless of how good he is this is fucken tough dude talks talk and walks his walk
