Tyron Woodley to Cash in the Biggest Paycheck of His Career Against Jake Paul

Tyron Woodley the former UFC Welterweight champion will face the YouTube star turned boxer Jake Paul. The fight will go as a showtime pay-per-view and is scheduled for the main event on August 28. As the fight is official, fans want to know how much money Woodley will make for his boxing debut.
Woodley’s manager Malki Kawa joined an interview with MMA fighting, where he disclosed a rough amount which ‘The Chosen One’ will make for his boxing bout.
Kawa said “He’s getting paid really well. It’s one of the best deals I’ve ever done. Damon for a guy in his situation, it was a tremendous deal. He’s getting a large base number he’s getting a cut of the pay-per-view globally. He’s participating in a lot of different things. And he should walk away with a multi-million dollar payday. I mean like his base guarantee is in the millions already. But add on all the extra stuff, it’s a really nice payday.”

Kawa continues, “In this case, I worked with Nakisa, I worked with Stephen Espinoza, I gave them what I was looking for. We worked back and forth for a good amount of time. Sh*t got ugly sometimes, other times you know it was pleasant. We just got to a point where we felt comfortable with it and Jake is probably making the lion’s share of the money, which he is, but nonetheless Tyron, this is a real good day for him.”
Tyron Woodley makes a multi-million dollar deal
According to Malki Kawa, Tyron Woodley will make multi-million dollars after the event is over. ‘The Chosen One’ will also enjoy a share in the worldwide pay-per-view sales. He also confirms that this is the highest amount of money Woodley has ever made in his career.
According to reports, ‘The Chosen One’ previously cashed in his biggest paycheck at UFC 228. This was a Welterweight title fight where he made a sum of $590,000. $500,000 fixed plus $50,000 performance of the night and $40,000 fight week incentive pay.
