UFC Confirms Judges and Referees for UFC 266

UFC 266 is finally upon us this weekend with some great fights in store for the fans. Featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski is set to defend his title against Brian Ortega in the main event of the card. Valentina Shevchenko and Lauren Murphy will compete in the co-main event with the women’s flyweight strap on the line.
And then there’s the highly anticipated matchup on the card with Nick Diaz and Robbie Lawler scheduled to go at it for five rounds. Fans are stoked to see the elder Diaz finally making his return to the UFC Octagon. Furthermore, a heavyweight clash between Curtis Blaydes and Jairzinho Rozenstruik and another women’s flyweight showdown between Jessica Andrade and Cynthia Calvillo will conclude the main card.

The prelims will also see some big names clash including Marlon Moraes and Merab Dvalishvili competing in a bantamweight matchup. Lightweights Dan Hooker and Nasrat Haqparast are set to throw down as well. There are a few more intriguing fights in store for the fans on this stacked card. Ahead of the mega-event, the UFC has announced the panel of officials for the pay-per-view.

Who are the judges and referees for UFC 266?
The UFC 266 card will go take place at the famous T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Mike Bell, Sal D’Amato, and Junichiro Kamiho are the three judges who will be present octagon side for scoring the fight between Alexander Volkanovski and Brian Ortega in the main event. The veteran Herb Dean is set to be the referee of the contest.

For the co-main event, which will have the women’s flyweight title on the line, Keith Peterson will be in charge. Eric Colon, Chris Lee, and Dave Hagen will be the judges who will be present octagon side.
Payments for the officials of the event have also been revealed. The referees who will officiate the title bouts will pocket $2,500. While the judges will take home $2,000 each.
