UFC Fans Convinced Khamzat Chimaev Is “All Lies” Following Wild Statement: ‘They Gave Me Four Different Countries, Four Different Opponents’

Khamzat Chimaev remains undefeated in UFC middleweight. Moreover, he claims that he was offered four different fighters in four different countries, but all of them backed out. However, fans had a different take on the claim and they share their opinion.

Chimaev was originally from Chechnya but now fights out of Sweden. In addition, he burst onto the UFC scene in July 2020 with a pair of dominant victories in a span of just ten days. Since then, he has continued to impress with three more wins. Moreover, all by stoppage but one against Gilbert Burns. Following he has quickly become one of the hottest prospects in the sport.

Maybe due to his impressive record and rising popularity, Khamzat Chimaev has struggled to find opponents willing to step into the octagon with him. Recently, he revealed that he was offered several fights in different locations but all potential opponents backed off.

It’s not difficult to see why other fighters might be hesitant to face Chimaev. His aggressive, relentless style has proven to be too much for his opponents to handle, and he has quickly gained a reputation as a finisher. In his six UFC fights, he has only gone the distance once, and even in that fight, he was in complete control.

He reveals that he might fight in March. He says, “[But] when it comes to the fight and sign the contract, everyone runs away. [Hopefully] Vegas, March, we’ll see.

Despite the challenges he has faced in finding opponents, Chimaev remains confident in his abilities and is eager to continue his climb up the middleweight ranks.
