In the same TMZ Sports interview with Brian Ortega, the UFC superstar revealed an insider’s take on the “politics” in the UFC. Though it might have caused an issue with the return of the UFC featherweight, he doesn’t seem too bothered by his return against Yair Rodriguez.
Commenting on his return, Ortega said, “Right, we would think and then also there’s politics, so there’s what I would think and then there’s what it is. So let’s, I rather not get ahead of myself, right… It’s not the first time setup but it’s the first time I sat out and stayed in isolation. And that’s what the key was for this one.”
