There won’t be a lot of UFC fans out there who can claim that they are not familiar with Arianny Celeste. The glamorous ring girl has been an integral part of fight cards in the UFC since 2006. Her years in the UFC watching the fighters closely may have given her many unforgettable moments, but she members one fight that left her scared. In an interview with Dingo and Danny on Monster Energy’s YouTube channel, she made revelations.

The channel has over 3 million followers. Celeste remembered the time she thought things were out of control and ran for safety.

The hosts asked Celeste about an eerie fight she had witnessed and she recalled the time Khabib Nurmagomedov’s anger left her scared. In 2018 Arianny Celeste was at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. UFC 229 was to host the much anticipated Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Conor McGregor fight that ended in chaos.

What happened at UFC 229 was something that the UFC has never seen. Khabib Nurmagomedov’s celebration after winning saw him getting over the cage and engaging in a fight with Conor McGregor’s fans and teammates. The venue saw complete chaos and this unsettled Celeste.

Dingo remembered that fight saying, “that was something those guys jumped the ring. Yeah, like how was it being at that or the only other time watching something…” Celeste added, “Scary”.

Dingo continued, “Usually, the fighters are pretty good. Male fighters are always pound gloves and then beat the s**t of each other, when it’s over, jobs done and we’re back, but that one was very personal and that one got so out of hand.”

Remembering the fight outside the ring, Arianny said, “It was crazy, I just looked at the girls and I was like go, we need to go now. Brooklyn stayed packed she’s like what’s going on um but yeah, we just started running for the um the dressing room there’s also like security right behind us that was like pushing us to go, so we were fine.”

The fight that led to the chaos saw Conor McGregor tap

The fight was the climax of the already building tension between the trash-talking ‘Mystic’ and the undefeated Dagestani. The bad blood had spilled outside the cage when Conor McGregor attacked Khabib Nurmagomedov’s bus. The fight that went to the 4th round saw the Russian come out on top.

He submitted McGregor, wrestling him into a neck crank; McGregor tapped. He is now trying to come back from an injury and is currently working as a coach for TUF 31.
