The UFC recently inducted ‘Cowboy’ Donald Cerrone into the Hall of Fame class of 2023. He has joined the elite class this year alongside Anderson Silva, Jose Aldo, and Jens Pulver. Cerrone appeared in the post-fight press conference for UFC on ESPN 43 where he talked about his Hollywood dreams. Many fans reacted to it on social media.

Donald Cerrone has 55 professional MMA bouts under his belt. He has won 36 of those and lost 17. However, he is one of the most well-rounded fighters in the history of the UFC. Cerrone mentioned his thoughts after retirement and aims at breaking into the movie industry.

Donald Cerrone admits use of steroids and claims to be “chasing Hollywood”

“Cowboy” stated that he is enjoying his life after retirement. Cerrone also mentions that he was on steroids, so he cannot even think of competing again. He said, “I got my hair done, so hair’s growing in. [I] got on steroids. So I couldn’t come back even if I wanted to right now.”

Cerrone then talks about getting time to spend with his children and the dream of breaking into the world’s biggest movie industry, Hollywood. “I feel good, man. I am healthy, happy, and enjoying a lot of time with the kids and growing up with my family. And like I said, chasing Hollywood which is a lot like… wanting to be a UFC fighter. I just re-entered that realm again. So strap the boots on and let’s go.”

Cerrone was asked if he missed fighting in the octagon, but he said he missed the other aspects of being in the fight business. He said, “I don’t [miss fighting]. I miss the comradery, miss all [of] you guys back here. I miss this, miss training with the groups, getting ready. But being in there and fighting? I don’t, you know. There’s time to bow out, and I just said I’m going to Hollywood. That’s my next plan.”
