Joe Rogan is all praise for a rising prospect. He has fought against the likes of Islam Makhachev and boasts an impressive record of 21 victories with just three defeats. Moreover, he is set to compete against former champion, Charles Oliveira, on arguably the biggest card of the year UFC 300. It is none other than UFC lightweight contender, Arman Tsarukyan.

The 27-year-old is on a meteoric rise and has captivated the MMA world, including Rogan. In a recent episode of his podcast, the UFC commentator reveals an opinion about him and it needs your attention.

Tsarukyan has several notable wins to his credit, however, his most impressive win came in December of last year, wherein he defeated a formidable opponent like Beniel Dariush. This impressed Rogan and ignited him to tag him with an impressive adjective on his podcast. While talking about Dariush’s last loss, he states, “The guy he lost to is a f*cking assassin.”

Moreover, he reveals that he has only lost against top-tier fighters in his professional career. Rogan added, “He has one loss to Cameron and one loss to Islam Makhachev and by most people’s eye’s number 1 or number 2 pound for pound in the world.” In addition, he felt the need to reiterate his perspective about the rising prospect of the lightweight division and said, “That guy, Arman Tsarukyan, is a f*cking assassin.”

From the above revelation, it is certain that the lightweight has the endorsement of Rogan. Needless to say, he must be doing something impressive. Will he be the one to defeat Olivera and continue his streak? Only time will tell. However, let’s take a look at how Tsarukyan foresees it.

In an interview, he stated, “So when I talked to my manager, I told him the best-case scenario is going to be a fight with Charles Oliveira and then fight for the title with Islam and I wanted UFC 300. And I got it, so I’m so happy, I’m so excited to fight in UFC 300, especially with former champion Charles Oliveira. So it’s super exciting, you know. And I want to say thank you UFC for that opportunity for me.”
