Up and coming promotions can learn a thing or two from UFC about hosting press conferences. As the video below showcases, the worst side of MMA where we can see that the promotion failed to keep things under control.
And while UFC has also had its fair share of moments where fighters lost their cool, this Russian MMA promotion experienced something otherworldly, as two fighters broke out into a brawl.

The nature of the brawl compelled a UFC star to retweet
Rising welterweight contender and number 10th ranked fighter, Michael Chiesa (18-6-0) shared the tweet. He found the whole incident to be extremely funny and could not help himself from cracking a smile. He claimed that the video was extremely funny and said, “This made my day”.

The era of silent, humble fighters is no more, as mental warfare has become a big part of the game.
With the ever-evolving nature of the sport, the next generation of fighters have picked up a few pages out of these books and are applying that in their careers. The best example of this has to be top ranked welterweight contender, Colby Covington, who has turned into a massive PPV star off the backs of his new persona.

It is true that at first; the promotion wasn’t interested in his humble and bland persona, and was planning to cut him from the roster.
However, the UFC fighter completely reinvented himself and took on the role of a heel to make himself marketable. He dialed up his trash talks while continuing to maintain his dominance in the division.
