Celebrities and mixed martial arts share a very close relationship. For the longest time, celebrities have tried to indulge in some type of martial arts or other.

Tom Hardy, who’s an MMA fan himself, was recently competing in an exhibition Jiu-Jitsu tournament at the REORG Open Jiu-Jitsu tournament. It took place at Aldersley Leisure Village.

Fans were overjoyed to see the A-lister’s performance. The 44-year-old emerged victorious and bagged two gold medals in the tournament. During the event, Hardy locked his opponent in an arm bar, a move UFC and WWE legend Ronda Rousey is famous for.

Hardy has trained MMA for his film Warrior, which came out in 2011. His roles in movies like Legend, also saw him experience fighting for which the Brit went under training.

REORG executed the charity event where the organization was providing Jiu-Jitsu training to disabled combat veterans in the United Kingdom. The UFC was one of the sponsors for the event.

Tom Hardy Made the Day Of A Six-year-old Fan After the Tournament

Tom Hardy, after winning the tournament, also became a reason for one of his fan’s glee. Ollie, a six-year-old boy, is a huge ‘Venom’ fan. Her mother, after knowing Hardy was present in the tournament, drove all the way so that her son could meet the Venom star.

In an interview, she revealed the whole incident. She said, “I received a message that he was in our town competing in a Jiu-jitsu tournament, drove down, walked in, asked for him, and was told he had just left. My son then burst into tears. The lovely lady from REORG decided to just check.”
