‘We’ve Given $1.2 Million’- Conor McGregor Reveals How He Has Helped ‘First Responders’

Conor McGregor is setting an example as he has extended a helping hand to the first responders of the 9/11 attacks in the US. McGregor, who is always under the scrutiny of fans, has certainly done an exceptional deed here with his noble gesture. He recently detailed the exact numbers of his donation.

‘The Notorious’ is one of a kind. One might argue that he is a self-made man with the backing of the right people behind him. The Irish fighter revealed what lit the fire in him to be such a hard worker from a very young age.

For me growing up with my family, this was a concern for my parents, also, you know, with a mortgage and bills on top. And it always would spur me on to work so I could, you know, assist in this and take those pressures off my mother and father. And when I heard about this foundation…I had to I had to get involved with it,” he said.

And, you know, as you said, we’ve given $1.2 million so far with, throughout the whiskey, you know, $5 off of every case sold, we give back to first responder organizations, we have a great partnership with Frank and the team, that’s one of the towers, I want to also announce we have another 700,000 that’s coming their way that’s gonna assist with the mortgages and support the families and the children of those lost in the line of duty,” he further added.

Conor McGregor faces Dustin Poirier next month

McGregor will complete his highly anticipated trilogy against Dustin Poirier in July. The score is currently set at 1-1 between two of the world’s finest at the moment. McGregor knocked out ‘The Diamond‘ in the first round of their contest at UFC 178 in 2014.

Poirier leveled the score at UFC 257, earning a second-round finish over the Irishman. The third fight will truly decide who actually is the better fighter between the duo. Needless to say, fans are excited about the upcoming fight.
