Who Is Arnold Allen’s Coach? Teammates, Gym, and All We Know About UFC Star’s Training

The no.3 ranked UFC featherweight contender, Arnold ‘Almighty’ Allen is set to take on the undefeated no.9 ranked UFC featherweight, Movsar Evloev at UFC 297. Evloev has never lost in his professional MMA career and is coming into the fight with a 7 fight-winning streak. Whereas the Englishman is returning inside the UFC octagon after a loss against Max Holloway, back in April 2023. So what has he been up to for his rematch?

Before losing to Max Hollow in their bout, Arnold Allen came into the fight with a 10-fight winning streak. So as for the changes, the Englishman didn’t make many drastic changes in terms of his fight camps. He still trains in the same gyms, but we can surely see a rejuvenated version of Arnold coming into the fight.

Arnold Allen has been training in two gyms since 2022. His home gym is the BKK Fighters gym in Colchester, UK. The other is the famous gym Tristar Gym in Quebec, Canada. And he has had quite an amazing pool of trainers in both.

Allen has trained along with Georges St.Pierre in Tristar and even the welterweight champion, Leon Edwards in the UK. Team Tristar is filled with talented trainers such as the BJJ coach, Pierre-Olivier Leclercq, Rob Rivest, Firas Zahabi, and Lentz Edouard Lundy to name a few.

Nevertheless, for this fight camp, it looks like Allen has been perfecting his striking with legendary Muay Thai coach, Ian Perron. The two have been posting their workouts on social media.

Fighters training with ‘Almighty’ for UFC 297

For the Englishman’s fight against Evloev, Allen has managed to put in quite an impressive team around him. The 29-year-old is training with decorated Iranian wrestler Mehdi Zeivand. UFC bantamweight, Aiemann Zahabi. And professional MMA fighter, Xavier Alaoui, to name a few.

It is quite evident that Arnold Allen is leaving no stone unturned, and has surrounded himself with some of the best coaches and teams he can find, looking in shape coming into fight week.
