“Shout Out to Conor McGregor!’- Ronda Rousey Strips Down for an Ice Bath With Kevin Hart

Ronda Rousey is easily one of the best fighters in the history of combat sports. She is a combat sports legend and was unstoppable during her prime days at the UFC. Prior to her mixed martial arts career, Rousey was a professional judoka. She has also won a medal in judo for her performance at the Summer Olympics in 2008. 

“Rowdy” was an iconic fighter in the UFC. She was the first-ever female UFC champion. Rousey successfully defended her bantamweight championship a total of six times against top fighters in the promotion. After having two consecutive losses against Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes, Rousey announced her retirement from the UFC. She was the first female inductee of the UFC’s Hall of Fame.

Following her retirement from mixed martial arts, the fighter signed with the Pro-wrestling promotion, WWE. She was a huge star in WWE as well and found great success as a wrestler. She also won the Raw Women’s Championship title when she was with the company.

Rousey is without a doubt one of the most popular and influential figures in sports history. In a recent video with actor and comedian Kevin Hart, Ronda Rousey was compared to the UFC icon Conor McGregor.

“Ronda Rousey is a star. The people that said there was no money now look at Ronda fuc*king wrecking in money,” said Kevin Hart to Rousey. He then told her, “you know you are a fu*king huge star. Another huge star there is Conor McGregor. Shout out to Conor McGregor… The light that’s now shining on UFC is a different light because of the stars that are going along with it.”

There is no doubt that Conor McGregor is one of the biggest stars in the UFC. Many fans started watching UFC, because of McGregor. The Irishman is the biggest cash cow for the promotion. In addition to that, he was also the highest-paid athlete in 2020, according to Forbes. McGregor has also brought in the most pay-per-view buys the UFC has ever gotten.

What is next for Ronda Rousey?

Rousey has inspired many women all around the world and built herself a legacy as a fighter. Whether it was the WWE or the UFC, she performed incredibly well and has defeated some of the best fighters. After her loss at WrestleMania in 2019, ‘Rowdy’ has been away from the spotlight. She has been taking time off to spend with her family.
