Throughout her career, Ronda Rousey has faced many challenges. The former queen of the 135-pound division has been a subject to call-outs from many fighters in her division. However, the 2008 Olympic gold medalist in Judo once received a call out by a person from the opposite gender and a completely different sport.

Holley said, “If you gave me two months to train, give me eight weeks to train and develop some kind of skill. I know kids that are bigger than 135 pounds. I know seventh graders that are bigger than 135 pounds. Ronda Rousey, 14-second win, incredible. I just know that if me and Ronda Rousey were in the ring, she would not stand a chance. I almost out-weigh her by 100 pounds.”

While Holley mentioned about defeating Ronda Rousey, he also declared the time frame and training he would need to defeat her. The fighter also stressed the fact that Rousey wouldn’t be able to do the things she did to her opponents against him.

Holley was appreciative of Rousey’s judo. He also seemed to understand that Rousey was someone who dedicated her life to combat sports. He said, “And I get it, she does Judo and she’s dedicated her entire life to this craft. I get it”

The former NFL player acknowledged he would have to better his cardio. However, he wasn’t fazed by Rousey’s judo. Holley said, “That’s why I say that I would need some training for two major reasons. One, for the conditioning of a fight. Two, I wouldn’t need some magical judo training; all I would need is to learn a few techniques on how to defend certain things. “
