Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley are two of the biggest professional wrestling stars in the world. Both men are signed with the WWE right now, where Lashley is the WWE champion.

Both men have had a similar career trajectory. Just like Lesnar, Lashley also competed as a professional mixed martial artist. They fought in the heavyweight division and reached great heights in their MMA careers. Lesnar and Lashley reached the top of their respective promotions as well and became heavyweight champions.

They are now feuding in the WWE, with Lashley recently defeating ‘The Beast Incarnate’ to capture the WWE title.

Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley – MMA career

Bobby Lashley started his MMA career in 2008. The start to his career was impressive. He went on a five-fight win streak and showed an amazing all-around game. Lashley currently has a 15-2 MMA record and has fought in some of the biggest promotions in the world. He competed in Bellator, Strikeforce, and Titan FC.

The last time he competed in a professional MMA fight was in 2016. He took on Josh Appelt under the Bellator banner and won the fight via submission. Bellator released Bobby Lashley in 2020.

Brock Lesnar is an athlete through and through. He is a former NCAA Division 1 wrestler, professional football player, professional wrestler, and MMA fighter. He made his MMA debut in 2007 and was signed by the UFC. Despite losing his first fight, Lesnar bounced back and only in his third fight in the promotion took on Randy Couture for the heavyweight title. He surprised everyone by dominating the MMA legend.

Lesnar defended his title twice, but dropped it to Cain Velasquez. After losing his fight against Overeem, he retired from MMA. He suffered many health issues during his time with the promotion and a severe case of diverticulitis. The former heavyweight champion made a return to the UFC in 2016 against Mark Hunt. He won the fight via a unanimous decision. But the result was later overturned to a no-contest after Lesnar was found guilty of using PEDs. His 5-3-1 result might not look impressive, but he took on some of the biggest names in MMA.
