Lee found a viable way to confluence both food cultures—Asian and American—to come up with the well-thought ‘The Bruce Lee diet’. In par with his Asian roots, Lee’s source of carbohydrates was the staple rice. However, dietary requirements for protein and fat were inspired by the West. Topping both cuisines, his favorite among all the foods was the beef in oyster sauce.
A recent Instagram post on Bruce Lee’s official profile has left fans in a festive mood. The picture shows Bruce Lee enjoying dumplings as his cheat meal in the movie. This is a rare sight to behold, as the legend always followed a strict diet and was not particularly fond of junk food.
