There was once a time when the American blogger and founder of Barstool Sports shared a list of his Top 24 Taylor Swift songs. Therefore, it is not a surprise that when he heard the songs included in the latest album, his reaction was, “I’m flabbergasted. I’m mindblown. I’m just in awe, shocked.” Despite being a total Taylor Swift fan, Portnoy did not hesitate in telling the world exactly what he thought.

According to him, two of the six tracks released were “okay”. But when it came to the rest of them, all Dave could say was, “The other four are so good. They’re like, you listen to one time you’re like, Oh my God, this may be a top 20 song ever top ten. They’re that good.” This high praise is not surprising, coming from someone who has had Swift’s back since forever. Even during the Kanye West and Taylor Swift controversy, the Barstool founder was clear in his stance. According to him, what Swift suffered through was “crazy”.

Portnoy feels Kim will “ruin” Tom Brady

Dave’s predictions about Tom Brady on the field have always grabbed the attention of his fans. And now, the internet is abuzz with his disapproval of the rumored relationship. Dave Portnoy did not mince his words an iota when he announced on social media, “Tom Brady can’t date Kim Kardashian, okay?” It is no surprise that Portnoy disapproves of Kim to this extent, as Kim and Taylor have also not seen eye-to-eye for a long time.

Kanye West and Taylor Swift made international headlines when Kanye interrupted a special moment for Taylor and stormed to the MTV Music Awards stage when Swift got her VMA, claiming he thought Beyoncé deserved it more. Since then, controversy was brewing between the two singers, and Kim Kardashian jumped into the mix in 2020, bashing Taylor as well. A fact that probably irked Dave enough to disapprove of her, though he has never said that in so many words.
