Arnold Schwarzenegger revealed the tough grind that he underwent while shooting action sequences of FUBAR

In his newsletter, ‘the Pump Daily’, the Austrian hasn’t only unveiled the first look of FUBAR, but he also shared various nooks and crannies about the spy-adventure series. Sharing his uphill battle with one of the action sequences of the show, the 75-year-old stated, “I rehearsed an action sequence 27 times, because this director wanted it in one shot without cutting, and it involved 12 people”. Expressing his elation, the bodybuilding legend asserted, “Rehearsing that much might seem crazy, but I loved it”.

The 7x Mr. Olympia champion also shared the workout regimen that kept him articulate with all the action segments of FUBAR. The True Lies star added, “First, I’d done the reps. By keeping my routine of training every day in the lead up to filming, and then not giving it up once we started, whether I was shooting nights or days, my body was ready for the work of running around, jumping from explosions, and punching bad guys”.

Interestingly, the bodybuilder’s religious training regime rendered him the ease of settling into the action-packed routine that the script demanded. “It made the whole scene automatic so I wasn’t stressing about trying to remember my moves”, conceded the FUBAR’s protagonist. While at it, the Austrian also shared with his fans how much different it is for him to work on a TV show than on a movie set.

The Austrian drew differences between the work cultures of a TV set and movie set

Explaining the meticulous work culture of the TV show sets, the bodybuilder said, “I say almost everything because TV is wildly different than movies, and it becomes impossible to have everything memorized with the changes”. Adding to this, the 75-year-old mentioned, “There were times where we’d be shooting parts of 3 different episodes in one day. Those days, I didn’t know all my lines for the first time in my career”.
