Ahead of Mr Olympia 2022, Bodybuilding Beast Big Ramy Revealed His Secret Diet to Remain in Shape All Year Around

With the 2022 Olympia approaching, all eyes are on defending champion Big Ramy. In a very special interview with Ronnie Coleman, Big Ramy unfolded his diet ahead of Olympia 2022. He also spoke about his favorite foods. 


Big Ramy’s statements show his strategy of incorporating proteins, carbohydrates and fats as a part of his diet. The views given by Big Ramy also show how his diet depends on his training.

“When they thinking about the meal, I need to eat just the bread, bread and fish and rice”, Big Ramy revealed. He also told Ronnie Coleman that fish and rice were his favorites. Big Ramy also expressed that he loved to keep in shape. 


During another interview, the bodybuilding legend also described how he varies his diet according to his training.  “On a leg day I’ll consume as much as 1,000 grams of carbohydrates. On a rest day I’ll consume 300-400”, he continued. This reflects his careful planning to develop his physique.  He also further mentioned that he had more than 300 grams of protein daily. The 2021 Olympia champion also spoke that he ate chicken and eggs.

The bodybuilding legend also remarked that his favorite sources of fatty foods were avocado along with coconut oil. Further, he also expressed that to prepare for Mr Olympia, he needed to eat large meals. Big Ramy also gave his opinion that consuming food like a bodybuilder was costly.

The bodybuilder also stated that he was trying to lose weight before Olympia 2022. While he weighed above 300 pounds at present, he predicted that he would be 295 pounds on the Olympia stage. The 2021 Mr Olympia winner also spoke that he did sets properly without hurrying. A set refers to the repetition of specific exercises. 

Big Ramy also mentioned that this was the best prep he had done. He also said that he was fine and was now just awaiting for Olympia 2022 to begin. The bodybuilding champion also denied any problems while preparing for Olympia 2022. These statements reflect Big Ramy’s confidence ahead of the most awaited bodybuilding competition.
