She had previously hinted at her thoughts by sharing an update on Instagram, claiming that the role is similar to uncompensated work or, in her words, “an unpaid internship.” This time the New York Times best-selling author shared a series of memes from a popular page that apparently captured her experiences to the T.

The post shared five hilarious tweets based on the experiences of the eldest kids. Evidently, the quotes resonated with the starlet in ways more than one.

Through her Instagram story, the 33-year-old seized the opportunity to express her relatability on the matter. The primary focus of the post was on the encounters of “the eldest daughter,” with five memes. The first one sarcastically pointed out, “Are you happy or are u the oldest sibling and also a girl.” Reacting to it with four laughing emojis on her story, she sealed the deal on the fans’ speculations.

It detailed that even though every sibling position has its own quirks, being the eldest daughter comes with plenty of responsibilities and “gendered expectation” of taking care of the whole family, young or old. Similarly, the other tweets referred to the role as “single mom” or a cause for “undiagnosed anxiety disorder”, all presented in humorous contexts.

Speaking of Katherine, she was the primary caregiver just after her parents and responsibly took care of her siblings. The social media personality likes to present this aspect of her life with an amusing tone. However, it doesn’t imply that she was not fond of it.

Similar to the recent share, the NY Times best-selling author once brought to light another such quote that read, “Being an eldest daughter is like an unpaid internship for the rest of your life” Despite the satirical insinuations, she has made it quite clear that her love for the younger Schwarzeneggers is unhindered. 

“Lol #ilovebeingtheeldestchild,” she added as the caption to her story. Even though there were certain challenges that she had to tackle because she was the eldest, Katherine loved to take care of them.
